The year is off to a good start. We started off the season with trips to Louisville and Richmond.
It was my last trip to compete at The Majors in Indianapolis. It seems just like yesterday I was walking the red carpet at the very first MAJORS…where The Coed Elite was the inaugural MAJORS CHAMPION!
Marah and I flew into Indianapolis early Thursday morning. I always look forward to the walking the red carpet and attending the banquet. I love seeing all the beautiful faces and beautiful people! Cheerleaders have the best style! It was a “first” MAJORS experience for most of the members of our team. I was so proud of everyone on our team. We performed like champions… Cheer Athletics Cheetahs took home the title. Congratulations to them for a great performance.
The weekend was just beginning for Coed Elite. Many of my teammates went straight to a bus that drove them through the night to Charlotte, NC (Home of the Carolina Panthers) to the Spirit of Hope competition. Marah and I flew out at 6 am – with only 2 hours of sleep. Coed Elite hit 2 perfect routines at Spirit of Hope. We have always been told to “leave your heart on the floor” no matter what happens – Mission accomplished! The Carolina Panthers were in town playing their first AFC game on Sunday – and yes – they are going to the Superbowl. Hopefully when you are reading this they will Superbowl Champions!
We also recently competed at Cheersport in Atlanta and at NCA Nationals in Dallas. Cheer Extreme Coed Elite received our full paid bid to Worlds at Cheersport!! At NCA I competed with C4 Bombsquad and we won!!! I am so excited to be a part of this team. Being on this team I get to experience the Summit. I also attend the TCLM Meet and Greet in Dallas and got to see many of you!! It was a great experience as always.
I remain grateful for all the gifts God has given me…health, family, friends, and so many opportunities.
